XM review: first funded account, education, and what we can check

XM is what many newer traders open because the minimum is small and the lesson library is large. That is an onboarding story, not an all-in cost story. Spreads on standard tickets are usually wider than a raw specialist; you pay in the quote instead of a commission line.

Several companies share the brand. If chat points you to a different entity after you ask for the licence, that is the review. Education does not replace a stop you can afford.

What we can actually check

Who this note is for

First funded accounts that want education nearby. Compare FXTM for a similar path, or FBS for a small MetaTrader test. For raw-style cost see IC Markets.

What we skip

“Best for beginners” as a safety claim. A small minimum is not a kinder book.

Next: how to choose a broker, verify a licence, spread vs commission, the reviews hub, and the risk disclaimer.

This note sits in the ten-desk research index so each broker has a URL Google can crawl on its own. Use that index to pick a second name, then compare on the same account type.
