Peak Pips is an independent research desk for people who already know leveraged forex and CFDs can wipe a deposit — and still want a cleaner broker shortlist before they send money.
We publish comparisons, licence notes, typical costs, platform options, and withdrawal basics. Rankings are a starting map, not a promise that you will make money.
We are not a broker, not a signal room, not a copy-trading desk, and not a wealth manager. You open the account, you fund it, and you take the market risk.
Why this desk exists
Broker ads sell a story. Registers, spec sheets, and withdrawal pages are slower to read — so we put the slow work in one place.
If a claim cannot be checked, it does not get a score. That keeps the shortlist short on purpose.
What we are
Notes you can check: public registers, account specs, platforms, and how money typically moves in and out.
What we are not
We do not sell “guaranteed” systems, run a signal room, or rank a “best broker in the world.”
Method
How a name gets on the shortlist
Licence
A register you can search, tied to the legal entity on the account form — not a logo in an ad.
All-in cost
Spread plus commission plus swaps. The “from 0.0” line is a marketing floor, not your fill.
Platform
MT4, MT5, cTrader, or web — only useful if you will actually click it under pressure.
Funding
Deposit is easy. We look at withdrawal methods, typical speed, and fees before we treat a name as usable.
Support
Hours, language, and whether you can reach a human when a transfer stalls — not a chatbot wall.
Skip the story
Bonus banners, unverifiable volume, and “best in the world” claims get ignored.
Who this is for
Use Peak Pips if you want a shortlist, not a guru
Newer traders
Start with a licence you can check, a demo you can use, and a minimum you can afford to lose.
Active traders
Compare platforms and typical costs, then test fills yourself. We do not rank “fastest broker on earth.”
Readers who check sources
If a page here looks wrong, send the URL and a register link. Corrections beat slogans.
Editorial rules
How we write so the page stays honest
No invented scores
If we cannot verify a claim, it does not get a number. Gaps stay gaps.
Entity, not logo
Same brand, different country, different licence. The contract you sign is the one that covers you.
Snapshots, not live quotes
Tables are typical. Spreads and minimums move — confirm on the broker’s site.
No social proof as a reason
Past results, demo glory, and follower counts are not a reason to deposit.
